About Brian

As an experienced and well-respected REALTOR® in the Hamilton & Burlington community, Brian Shaw is highly motivated. We at heddle real estate, are excited to bring his vast experience of governance, sales skills, masterful negotiating, and exceptional customer care experience to the team. Having built his business through referrals from satisfied clients and other professional networks, Brian rose through the award levels from Presidents Gold to Directors Platinum and the Award of Excellence. As a graduate of McMaster University in Management Studies, Brian has applied a lot of this knowledge and acquired skills while being a member or chair of various committees within the Realtors Association of Hamilton-Burlington, including The Charity Auction Task Force, MLS Committee, Governance Committee, as well as the Audit, Finance, and Risk Committee. Currently Brian sits as one of the Directors of the RAHB Board, as well as a member of the OREA Realtor Wellness Task Force.

Born and raised in Stoney Creek, the greater Hamilton area has always been home to Brian. As a husband and father of two wonderful children, family is more important than anything. He also proudly served the Hamilton community as a Volunteer Firefighter for 10 rewarding years. Brian believes in leading by example, community roots, human connection, building businesses and lives, entrepreneurship, being a change maker, and taking necessary calculated risks. Brian also believes that change is inevitable, and growth is desirable. His philosophy, belief system, and life path have resulted in Brian receiving various academic, humanitarian, athletic, public speaking, performance, volunteer, civic, and leadership awards.

Life outside of work for Brian is all about the love of gathering with family and friends, walking and playing with his dogs, and trying new experiences by having the ongoing passion for knowledge, animals, travel, music, film, golf, and a variety of other sporting, cultural, artistic, and community activities!
